Three tasks. Nothing else

A Chrome extension that turns the new tab into a place to pick what matters today. From the Greek skopós: the mark you aim at.

Skopo new tab in the Dawn theme with three tasks, one of them checked off

What it is

Every new tab asks one question and accepts up to three answers.

Three slots, hard limit

A fourth task is refused. The list you finish beats the list you keep adding to.

A line under the date

One phrase chosen for that day: the season, the weekday, or a reminder about focus.

Six themes

Dawn by default. Night, Mono, Garden, Ember and Harbor are one click away in settings.

Nothing leaves the browser

Tasks live in this browser's local storage. No account, no sync, no analytics.

Six themes

The same screen in every palette. Dawn is what you get on install.

Dawn theme
Dawn soft pink and sea glass
Night theme
Night deep slate and indigo
Mono theme
Mono black, white, nothing else
Garden theme
Garden sage and mint
Ember theme
Ember peach and amber
Harbor theme
Harbor cool cyan and deep blue

A line under the date

Under the date sits one phrase picked for that day. Three pools feed it: the season, the day of the week, and short notes about focus.

It changes at local midnight and can be switched off, pool by pool, in settings.

Empty Skopo new tab inviting you to pick up to three things

The empty state is the point

A fresh day opens with an empty list and one invitation: pick up to three things that deserve your attention.

Yesterday's tasks do not follow you. What you did not finish, you type again or let go.

What it does not do

  • No accounts, no sync, no analytics.
  • Your tasks stay in this browser.
  • No network requests at all. Feedback opens a page on this site, outside the extension.
