What Kopi-Kopi stores

Kopi-Kopi stores three preferences through Chrome's extension storage: the output format you picked, whether duplicates are hidden, and whether group headings are printed. That is the whole list. It stays on your device, and it is never sold, shared, or collected.

What Kopi-Kopi reads

When you open the extension page, it reads the tabs of that one Chrome window: title, address, favicon, pinned state, and the tab group each tab belongs to. This is held in memory while the page is open, shown to you, and turned into the text you copy or download. It is not written to disk and not sent anywhere.

Other windows are out of scope. Kopi-Kopi never reads the content of a page, only the tab metadata Chrome already exposes to the browser toolbar.

What Kopi-Kopi does not do

Removing your data

Uninstalling Kopi-Kopi removes the three stored preferences along with it. There is nothing held anywhere else, because nothing ever leaves your machine.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above and this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
